The Teatro parasol is the smallest member of the Solero family. This garden parasol has a cloth diameter of 270cm. The solid frame of the Solero Teatro is made of aluminum. The powder coating is colored in a chic silver-gray style. We offer several attractive cloth colors for you to choose from.

Small size, great quality
The parasol cloth is made with quality and is guaranteed to be fade resistant. After a number of years, your blue parasol will be, well, still blue! You can open and close the Solero Teatro in seconds.

The quality and durability of a parasol are largely determined by the quality of the cloth. The fade resistance of a cloth (by UV-radiation) depends on the way in which the yarn is dyed. In contrast to most polyester fabrics on the market, Solero cloths have been colored on a thread level before being woven. Think of the difference between a radish or carrot. You will receive a complementary beige protective cover with your Teatro parasol.

water column 300mm

A water column indicates how much water pressure a parasol cloth can handle without leaking. A 300 mm water column indicates that a cloth will start letting water through, once a pressure of more than a 30 cm column of water is applied to it.

UPF 50+

Solero parasol cloths form a great protection to harmful sun radiation. All our cloths filter the harmful UV-radiation entirely (100%), signified with a UPF 50+ factor.

270 cm round

without valance

The valance is the fabric strip at the bottom of the front of a sunscreen or parasol, often styled in the same pattern as the sunscreen. The word valance is historically associated with bed skirts, which could chill the undersides of beds. The Teatro parasol will be delivered without a valance.

The Solero parasol frames are made from high quality aluminium. Aluminium has a low weight and high strength. Moreover the material is corrosion resistant and recyclable.

eight ribs

The ribs of a parasol are the ‘spokes’ on which the canvas is tensioned. A square parasol uses both long as short ribs; the long ribs connect the corners while the short ribs connect the short sides.

cranking system

The Teatro parasol is easy to open and close by the cranking system, without having to use force.

The Teatro parasol closes over the table. The parasol can be opened and closed without having to move the tables or chairs. The closing height can be found in our brochure, further down this page.
