Presto is Italian for ‘quick’, and the newest edition to the Solero hospitality parasols lives up to its name. With its unique easy-turn system, the Presto is opened in a flash. As soon as you release the button to close it, the Presto parasol instantly slides back into its closed position. An ideal parasol solution for the hospitality industry!

Solid quality
The Solero Presto offers a solid 63mm diameter pole. The ribs are extra-reinforced, making it stand up tall against a 5BF wind force. The powder coating is colored in a simple, elegant silver. You can make your selection from two editions: a square 330cm*330cm parasol, or the round edition with a 400cm diameter. Both editions are offered with trendy and fade-resistant cloths in natural, taupe and black tones.

The Presto parasol cloth is delivered with a hydrophobic coating. It’s also completely recyclable, assuring protection of both your guests as the environment. With a UPF value that ranks well over 50, the cloth provides maximum protection against sun and rain. Of course, you’ll also receive a complimentary protective cover with your parasol. The quality and durability of a parasol are largely determined by the quality of the cloth. The fade resistance of a cloth (by UV-radiation) depends on the way in which the yarn is dyed. In contrast to most polyester fabrics on the market, Solero cloths have been colored on a thread level before being woven. Think of the difference between a radish or carrot. Cut a carrot in half and you’ll see the same orange color all the way through. Our parasols are delivered with a label that guarantees a color guarantee for 4 years. fade-resistant

water column 300mm

A water column indicates how much water pressure a parasol cloth can handle without leaking. A 300 mm water column indicates that a cloth will start letting water through, once a pressure of more than a 30 cm column of water is applied to it.

UPF 50+

Solero parasol cloths form a great protection to harmful sun radiation. All our cloths filter the harmful UV-radiation entirely (100%), signified with a UPF 50+ factor.

without valance

The valance is the fabric strip at the bottom of the front of a sunscreen or parasol, often styled in the same pattern as the sunscreen. The word valance is historically associated with bed skirts, which could chill the undersides of beds. Presto will be delivered without valance.

The Presto parasol has a telescopic mast, that is fully lowered when opened and fully risen when shut. This solution is often used in the hospitality industry so that parasols can be opened and closed without having to move the tables and chairs around the parasol.

aluminium frame

The Solero parasol frames are made from high quality aluminium. Aluminium has a low weight and high strength. Moreover the material is corrosion resistant and recyclable.

eight ribs

The ribs of a parasol are the ‘spokes’ on which the canvas is tensioned. A square parasol uses both long as short ribs; the long ribs connect the corners while the short ribs connect the short sides.

adjustable rib ends

The ribs of the Solero Presto parasols are equipped with adjustable rib ends, ensuring the cloth to be kept tight.

extra support ribs

The ribs of all our parasols are made of strong aluminium. The Presto parasol is delivered with extra support ribs for even greater wind stability.

easyturn operation

With the unique easy-turn system the Presto is opened in a blink of an eye. Closing it is even done almost fully automatic.
